The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers on the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency said it's alarmed concerning the superior quantity of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The goal with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a high number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no completely functional office devoted to service the area on a regular basis. The support stage created for intervention ordeals a superior inflow here of probable beneficiaries, which makes it challenging for that office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional means to allow the servicing of all buyers and raise access to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
